Dyna-Glo 2-Burner Gas Grill
Our 2-burner gas grill was designed for balconies, patios, and small outdoor kitchens where space is at a premium but grilling performance can't be compromised. With 24,000 BTUs spread across dual stainless steel tube burners, you get even heat distribution over 350 square inches of primary cooking surface—enough room for 12 burgers or a family-size chicken. We built the firebox from porcelain-enameled steel to resist rust and retain heat season after season.
Independent burner controls let you create direct and indirect heat zones, so you can sear steaks on one side while keeping vegetables warm on the other. The cast-iron grates hold seasoning like a skillet and deliver restaurant-quality sear marks. An integrated thermometer in the lid takes the guesswork out of temperature control, and the side shelf gives you a landing zone for plates and tools without cluttering your workspace.
- 24,000 total BTUs across two independently controlled stainless steel burners
- 350 sq. in. primary cooking surface plus 120 sq. in. warming rack
- Porcelain-enameled firebox resists rust and simplifies cleanup
- Cast-iron cooking grates retain heat and create professional sear marks
- Built-in lid thermometer for precise temperature monitoring
Burner Design & Heat Distribution

Each stainless steel tube burner runs the full width of the firebox, eliminating cold spots and giving you consistent edge-to-edge heat. Burner one delivers 12,000 BTUs, and burner two matches it for a combined 24,000 BTU output. You can run both on high for a fast preheat or dial one down to create a two-zone setup for indirect roasting.
The porcelain-enameled steel firebox reflects heat back onto the grates rather than letting it escape through the sides. That means faster recovery when you add cold food and lower propane consumption over the course of a grilling session. The integrated grease tray slides out from the front for quick cleanup.
Cooking Surface & Grate Materials

We chose cast iron for the main grates because it holds thermal mass better than chrome-plated wire and seasons over time to develop a natural nonstick surface. The 350 square inches of primary grilling area accommodates up to 12 quarter-pound patties laid flat, and the 120-square-inch chrome-plated warming rack above keeps buns toasted or finished proteins warm while you finish the rest of the cook.
Cast iron requires a light coat of cooking oil after each use to prevent surface rust. If you store the grill outdoors year-round, we recommend a fitted cover to protect the grates between sessions.
Portability & Assembly

The grill ships with two 6-inch wheels mounted on the right leg and two fixed feet on the left, so you can tilt and roll it across a deck or patio without lifting. Fully assembled dimensions are 48 inches wide, 23 inches deep, and 42 inches tall to the lid peak. Total weight is 65 pounds, light enough for one person to reposition but stable enough not to tip in wind.
Assembly takes about 45 minutes with a Phillips screwdriver and an adjustable wrench. The instruction manual includes a torque spec for the burner mounting brackets—finger-tight plus one quarter turn is the target. The propane regulator and hose come pre-attached; you only need to supply a standard 20-pound LP tank.

Common Questions About the 2-Burner Gas Grill
The grill connects to a standard 20-pound LP propane tank via the included regulator and hose assembly. The propane cylinder sits on the lower storage shelf beneath the firebox. A full 20-pound tank provides approximately 25 hours of cook time at medium heat across both burners.
The regulator is a standard QCC1 fitting compatible with any modern propane tank sold in North America. If you plan to use a larger tank or connect to a permanent propane line, you'll need an adapter hose rated for the appropriate pressure.
Before the first cook, wash the grates with warm soapy water to remove the factory protective coating. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely with a towel. Coat both sides of each grate with a thin layer of high-smoke-point oil like canola or grapeseed, then place them back in the grill.
Preheat both burners on high with the lid closed for 15 minutes. The oil will polymerize into a dark, nonstick surface. Repeat this process after deep cleaning or if you notice food starting to stick. After each regular cook, brush the grates while still warm and apply a light oil coat to maintain the seasoning.
This model ships configured for liquid propane and does not include a natural gas conversion kit. Converting a propane grill to natural gas requires replacing the orifices, regulator, and hose with components rated for lower-pressure natural gas flow.
We do not offer a factory conversion kit for the two-burner model at this time. Attempting a field conversion with third-party parts may void the warranty and create a carbon monoxide or fire hazard if orifice sizing is incorrect.
With both burners set to high and the lid closed, the grill reaches 500°F in approximately 10 minutes starting from ambient outdoor temperature. Preheat time extends to 12 to 15 minutes in cold or windy conditions.
For low-and-slow cooking or indirect setups, preheat one burner on medium-low for 5 minutes, then adjust to your target temperature. The built-in thermometer stabilizes within 3 to 4 minutes once burner settings are dialed in.
The grill does not include a cover in the box. We offer a heavy-duty polyester cover custom-fitted to the two-burner footprint, sold separately. The cover features reinforced corner seams, a drawstring hem with toggle locks, and a water-resistant coating rated for year-round outdoor storage.
If you store the grill in a shed or garage between uses, a cover isn't strictly necessary. For grills left on decks or patios, a cover extends the life of the finish and prevents moisture from corroding the burner tubes.
Maintain at least 24 inches of clearance behind the grill and 12 inches on each side to allow heat to dissipate and prevent siding or fencing from warping. The grill must not be used under any overhead combustible surface, including covered patios, awnings, or tree branches.
If the grill sits on a wooden deck, place a grill mat or non-combustible pad beneath it to protect the decking from grease drips and radiant heat. Never operate the grill indoors or in an enclosed space, even with ventilation.
You'll need a Phillips-head screwdriver and an adjustable wrench or a set of combination wrenches ranging from 7/16 inch to 1/2 inch. All fasteners and hardware are included in the box, sorted into labeled bags that correspond to each assembly step.
The instruction manual includes exploded diagrams and a parts list with callout numbers. Most builders complete assembly in 40 to 50 minutes. If you're assembling alone, the lid-hinge installation is easier with a helper to hold the lid in position while you insert the hinge pins.
