Dyna-Glo 5-Burner Gas Grill
Our 5-burner gas grill brings commercial-grade performance to your backyard with 65,000 BTUs of total cooking power distributed across five independent stainless steel burners. The 708 square inches of total cooking space includes 590 square inches on the main grates plus a 118-square-inch warming rack, giving you room to cook for a crowd without crowding your food.
We designed this grill around porcelain-enameled cast iron cooking grates that hold heat evenly and create perfect sear marks on steaks, burgers, and vegetables. The electronic ignition system lights all five burners reliably with a push-button start, while the integrated temperature gauge on the lid lets you monitor heat without lifting the cover.

Burner Configuration & Heat Distribution

The five independent stainless steel burners on this model give you precise zone control across the entire cooking surface. Each burner operates on its own control valve, so you can run a high-heat sear zone on one side while maintaining indirect heat on the other for slow-roasting or keeping finished food warm.
Total BTU output reaches 65,000, but what matters more than raw numbers is how that heat distributes. We engineered the burner spacing to eliminate cold spots—each tube-style burner runs front-to-back rather than side-to-side, which means heat spreads more evenly left to right across the grates. Customers who’ve grilled on both our 4-burner and this 5-burner model often tell us the extra burner makes multi-zone cooking feel less cramped.
Cooking Grates & Surface Area

Porcelain-enameled cast iron grates are the workhorse of this grill. Cast iron holds heat better than steel rod grates, which translates to more consistent searing and those restaurant-style crosshatch marks on your proteins. The porcelain coating protects the iron from rust and makes cleanup easier—most residue wipes off with a grill brush after cooking.
The main cooking area measures 590 square inches, enough to fit roughly 25 burger patties at once or eight full-size steaks without overlap. Above the main grates sits a chrome-plated warming rack adding another 118 square inches—ideal for toasting buns, holding vegetables, or keeping early batches warm while you finish the rest of the cook.
Cabinet Construction & Storage

The enclosed cabinet base houses your 20-lb propane tank behind double doors with magnetic latches. Inside the cabinet you’ll find a simple bracket that secures the tank upright—no tools needed to swap tanks when you run out mid-cookout.
Both side shelves extend the prep area by 12 inches on each side of the firebox. The left shelf includes three integrated tool hooks for tongs, spatulas, and brushes, while the right shelf features a recessed condiment rack that holds sauce bottles and spice shakers upright. Both shelves fold down if you need to reduce the grill’s footprint for storage or tight patio spaces.

What people are saying

Common questions about the 5-burner model
This grill uses a standard 20-pound propane tank, the same size you'd exchange at most gas stations and hardware stores. The enclosed cabinet includes a mounting bracket that secures the tank upright.
A full 20-lb tank typically provides 18-20 hours of cooking time at medium heat across all five burners. If you're running all burners on high continuously, expect closer to 10-12 hours per tank.
The firebox and burner assembly arrive pre-welded, so you're attaching the legs, side shelves, cabinet doors, wheels, and control knobs. Most customers complete assembly in 60-90 minutes with two people.
You'll need a Phillips screwdriver and an adjustable wrench—all bolts and hardware are included. The instruction manual includes step-by-step diagrams, and we also offer assembly videos on our support page.
This model ships configured for liquid propane and is not designed for natural gas conversion. We do not offer a conversion kit, and attempting to modify the burners or regulators will void the warranty.
If you need a natural gas grill, contact our customer service team to discuss models that are available in natural gas configurations from the factory.
The 5-burner grill adds one additional burner and increases total BTU output from 52,000 to 65,000. The main cooking area grows from 520 square inches on the 4-burner to 590 square inches on this model.
Both grills use the same porcelain-enameled cast iron grates and electronic ignition system. The 5-burner is about 6 inches wider overall and weighs approximately 15 pounds more than the 4-burner version.
Brush the grates with a stainless steel grill brush while they're still warm after cooking—this removes most food residue before it hardens. For deeper cleaning, let the grates cool completely, then remove them and wash with warm soapy water.
Avoid using oven cleaner or harsh chemicals on the porcelain coating, as these can damage the finish. If you notice rust spots forming, scrub them with a paste of baking soda and water, then re-season the grates with a light coat of vegetable oil before your next cook.
A grill cover is not included with the purchase. We offer a separately sold premium cover designed specifically for 5-burner models—it's made from heavy-duty waterproof fabric with UV protection and features adjustable straps and buckles for a secure fit.
Using a cover extends the life of the stainless steel control panel, protects the ignition system from moisture, and prevents rust on exposed hardware.
We offer a one-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship on all components. The stainless steel burners carry an extended three-year warranty, and the firebox/lid assembly is covered for five years.
The warranty does not cover normal wear items like grates, igniters, or cosmetic rust caused by lack of maintenance. You must register your grill within 30 days of purchase to activate the extended warranty on burners and firebox.
