Dyna-Glo 6-Burner Gas Grill – Premium Outdoor Cooking Power
Our 6-burner gas grill brings professional-grade cooking power to your backyard with 72,000 BTUs distributed across six stainless steel tube burners. The 816-square-inch total cooking area includes a porcelain-enameled warming rack, giving you room to cook for large gatherings without running out of space.
We built this model with heavy-duty stainless steel construction on the burners, control panel, and side shelves. The cast iron cooking grates retain heat evenly and deliver restaurant-quality sear marks. An integrated side burner adds 12,000 BTUs for sauces or side dishes while the main event cooks.
The electronic ignition system fires up all six burners instantly, and individual control knobs let you create different heat zones across the cooking surface. Whether you're reverse-searing steaks, slow-roasting a whole chicken, or grilling vegetables, this grill gives you precise temperature control where you need it.
- 72,000 total BTUs across six stainless steel burners
- 816 square inches of total cooking space
- Cast iron cooking grates with porcelain enamel coating
- 12,000 BTU side burner for sauces and sides
- Electronic ignition with individual burner controls
Cooking surface and heat distribution

The primary cooking area measures 624 square inches across six independently controlled burners, with an additional 192-square-inch warming rack that keeps finished food hot while you finish the rest of your meal. Each burner produces 12,000 BTUs, and the tubular stainless steel design ensures even heat distribution without hot spots.
Cast iron grates hold temperature better than lighter materials, which means better browning and those professional-looking grill marks. We coated the grates with porcelain enamel to prevent rust and make cleanup easier after you’re done cooking. The grates are also reversible, giving you a narrow-gap side for smaller items like asparagus or shrimp.
Construction and durability

We use 430-grade stainless steel for the burner tubes, control panel, and side shelves because it resists corrosion from weather and high heat. The control knobs are commercial-style with metal stems rather than plastic, and each one controls a single burner so you can run two zones at high heat while keeping the middle section on low.
The firebox sits inside a powder-coated steel cart with double-wall construction on the lid. This design holds heat inside the cooking chamber instead of radiating it outward, which improves fuel efficiency and keeps the exterior cooler to the touch. The enclosed cart includes a full-width storage cabinet with a double-door design for propane tanks, grilling tools, or extra supplies.
Ignition system and controls

The electronic ignition uses a push-button system powered by a AA battery, eliminating the need for matches or manual lighters. Each burner ignites individually, so if one doesn’t catch on the first try, you can relight it without affecting the others.
Control knobs are positioned on the front panel at a comfortable height, and each one includes a flame-indicator window so you can verify the burner is lit without opening the hood. We added temperature markers around each dial (low, medium, high) to help you dial in consistent results across multiple cooking sessions.

Common questions about the Dyna-Glo 6-burner grill
This grill runs on standard 20-pound liquid propane (LP) tanks, the same type you'd use for most residential gas grills. The enclosed cart has space for the tank with easy access through the front cabinet doors.
If you prefer natural gas, we offer a conversion kit sold separately. The kit includes a new regulator, hose, and orifices designed for natural gas hookup. We recommend professional installation for natural gas conversions to ensure safe operation.
The total cooking area is 816 square inches. That breaks down to 624 square inches on the main cooking surface and 192 square inches on the warming rack.
For reference, you can fit approximately 32 quarter-pound burger patties on the main grates at once, or about 8 to 10 whole chicken halves. The warming rack adds room for buns, vegetables, or finished food that needs to stay hot while you finish grilling.
The porcelain-coated cast iron grates resist sticking better than bare metal, and most residue burns off when you preheat the grill before your next cooking session. For deeper cleaning, the grates lift out easily and can be scrubbed with a grill brush or soaked if needed.
The grease management system includes a removable drip tray that slides out from the front of the cart. We recommend lining it with aluminum foil for quick cleanup. The firebox has a porcelain coating that wipes clean with a damp cloth once it cools down.
You can use the grill on a deck or patio as long as you follow clearance guidelines. We recommend at least 24 inches of clearance from combustible materials on the sides and back, and at least 48 inches of overhead clearance from any roof or overhang.
Never use the grill in a fully enclosed space like a garage or screened porch with no ventilation. Proper airflow is essential for safe propane combustion and to prevent carbon monoxide buildup.
Each of the six main burners produces 12,000 BTUs, for a combined total of 72,000 BTUs across the primary cooking surface. The side burner adds another 12,000 BTUs independently.
This output is more than enough for high-heat searing and fast preheating. The grill typically reaches 500°F across all burners in about 10 minutes from a cold start.
We back the Dyna-Glo 6-burner grill with a limited warranty that covers the stainless steel burners for three years and all other components for one year from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.
To activate your warranty, register your grill online within 30 days of purchase. Keep your receipt as proof of purchase in case you need warranty service.
A standard 20-pound propane tank provides approximately 18 to 20 hours of cooking time when running all six burners on high heat. In typical use, where you're running some burners on medium or low, you can expect 25 to 30 hours per tank.
Actual runtime depends on how many burners you use, heat settings, and weather conditions. Colder temperatures and wind can reduce efficiency slightly. We recommend keeping a backup tank on hand if you grill frequently.
